Andres, a young farmer from the south of Mexico, tries over and over again to cross the North-American border illegally. However death, thirst and the desert get in between him and his dream. Just when he is about ready to give up, the call of the north beckons him once more and, by means of a surrealistic plan, he embarks on one last attempt to cross the border.
