This ninth edition is set under the aegis of film directors.
President of the Jury Abbas Kiarostami, who has been awarded the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, will be surrounded by international directors from various backgrounds, together with radiant actresses. |

Emir Kusturica who, despite his two Palmes d’Or and unmatched international record of rewards, still has so many dreamlike visions to communicate.
The directors of the Master Classes, who generously share their passion with us.
The directors in competition, who define the artistic stakes, and those in the selection, who kindle our perceptions anew.
But also, the three actors to whom we will pay a tribute, thus giving us the tremendous joy to watch some of their films again.
The audience will visit every continent and more than 25 countries, through the images of the films all these artists will be kind enough to present - through the universal language of art.
Thus the International Film Festival of Marrakech, by celebrating these artists, will remain committed to its vocation as an international showcase for world cinema. |
